Some residents and staff took the opportunity to make the most out of the warm autumn afternoons and went for a drive with our bus across the Ashdown forest. They turned off the main road to enjoy the sun and admire the views over the South Downs but they didn’t expect to find themselves surrounded by a herd of friendly cows who were settling down next to the bus to enjoy the views and the warm autumn sun as well. After the acquaintance with the cows the journey went on across the forest and back to Windlesham Manor just in time for supper
